Summer Fun German Language Camp

The German Language School Westwood is dedicated to providing the highest quality of language instruction and cross-cultural experience for both children and adults and runs a fully accredited language school from September to May.  We now offer a summer camp for children, based on language ability and age:

German Summer Classes

3-5 year olds

One week program in German to create, learn and play. No prior German language skills required.

Activities such as games, songs, role playing, counting, crafts and rhymes make learning German fun and easy.

6-12 year olds

German is presented in a fun and playful way. Games, music and a communicative approach will facilitate effective and fluent conversation.

The topics will focus on students’ daily activities with emphasis on family, home, school, clothes, toys, animals, birthdays, weather and numbers among other things. Cultural similarities and differences between the United States and German speaking countries will be discussed and will enable students to broaden their international horizons. Different programs each week.

• July 26-30, 2010 (all age groups)
• August 2-6, 2010 (6-12 year olds)
• August 9-13, 2010 (6-12 year olds)

Schedule:

9 am to 12 noon

Program fees:

$225 per child / per week
♦ Early Bird: 10% discount when you register before May 15 th
♦ 5% sibling discount
